Valeria Grant was the primary caretaker for my parents for a little over two years after my father's heart condition and my mother's Alzheimer's required in home care. Val was a fantastic caregiver for my parents, and the peace of mine she provided me and my siblings was so appreciated. Val's responsibilities included making sure doctor's appointments were made and kept, all medications were kept up to date and provided to my parents, and generally overseeing the other staff members. My father was sharp as a tack to the end, and he was no easy man to please. My mother's dementia made her quite the challenge to care for. Val handled both of them with grace and kindness and we are forever grateful that she was there to watch over them until they both passed.
